i wanna drink rather badly

 

My parents have 5 acres in the country with a year round creek. They have a 3 bedroom 2 bath house right around 2000 Sq ft excluding the 2 car garage. The house is probably the middle of the road when it comes to quality. Also a 36 x 36 ft shop with 14 ft eves. They figure it's worth around $325K. Spending the same money would get you a nicer house with less property in town around here.

I live in a 4 room 'vacation cottage' that is about 1400 sq ft. The yard is 60 X 180, and because it's on water its $2000 a month...


...meanwhile, the house I own in Vegas is 2000 sq ft, on a 80 X 110 lot, it has 4 br, 3 full ba, attached 2 car garage, 2 master bedrooms, fully landscaped lot, and a 40 X 18 in ground pool.

I bought it for $133,000 in 1999.

Yeah...the Vegas area is really cheap. Plus...not too much in the way of taxes because the state gets so much money from the casinos.
