It happened to us one year when a transformer exploded on the middle of the night. It went BRRRRRTTTTT and lit up the whole block like day. No power for a week. Dead of Winter. A PG&E crew came down from the Bay Area and worked on it. We lived in heavy clothes, with a fire going in the fireplace, and perishable food in coolers. I kept buying more and more ice and firewood.

I was not here for the Inaugural day storm but heard tale that the house we were in before this one was a war zone of trees as it was a wooded yard
the people couldnt get out their driveway for dayz
Other than freezin our butts off and loosing a fridge/freezer of food we did otay I guess! Give your folks my # and tell um to call me if they need ANYTING! I'm glad they have a genrator but I think thats normal for Woodinville since THAT IS THE BOONIES
