Default ozzie osbourne - is his behavior natural ?

i've been an ozzie fan for 30 years, but watching the osbournes on mtv has got me wondering, is he naturally this way, or is it chemically induced?

:thinking wistfully of the years spent in high school shooting pool and listening to 'paranoia':

I think he's pretty much burnt at this point. He's half deaf, and his brain and body seem to be hobbled by too many years of drugs... I have some very solid sources though that assure me he IS somewhat more normal than we see on the show much of the time.

well, if he was 'normal' would you watch the show? They gotta make it interesting. C'mon, you should know how superficial and visceral MTV is now... I've stopped watching it for a while now... I like VH-1 cuz it's still about the musicians and their craft.

MTV always focused on the kids (teenagers). They just play less music now (none, basically), and focus more on trying to control what kids wear and how they act. VH-1 always focused more on the music/musicians, and usually the music they chose was a bit more "mature".

So the fact that you've gravitated from MTV to VH-1 indicates you got older, more than anything else. If you really were into the music, MTV2 or MuchMusic both play more music than VH-1 and are aimed at the younger generation...

So, I guess you're both right

I see your point westsidebilly.

I just couldn't justify having to get another MTV channel to show videos taht the original channel was created to do AND pay extra. I just thought that was a complete rip-off. I guess it's a principle thing. That was my only point in my statement. I never really thought of VH-1 as a more 'mature' channel (for 'older' people) cuz they play alot of contempo artists you hear on teenie pop stations. I think VH-1's audience is a little more broadbased than you think. They can target alot of the population because they put musicians first (and not the target audience like MTV).
