I can't seem to get excited about this year's superbowl matchup. Sure, it showcases two elite defenses, and lots of sub-plots.. Panthers coming from 1-15 two years ago to make it to the superbowl.. Patriots overcoming all types of injuries to potentially win 14 games in a row.. Jake Delhomme, backup for Kurt Warner in Euro NFL attempting to lead his team to victory.. but this game has the making of a 10-7 yawneeerrr.. I'll still watch it, but I don't think ratings will be that high.

 

Mrs. Raptor and I kept saying over and over again during the Panthers-Eagles game "God, this is a BORING game."

 

I now know why people like College Football way more than the NFL.

 

well, then you'll just appreciate next year's superbowl that much more.

 

Watch the first half for good commercials, get refills and pee during the game, watch the halftime show of choice, then resume drinking heavily

 

Or you can just drink the whole time

 

Well, George, that's just a given. But during a good superbowl game, there really isn't a lot of time to get refills, as the commercials in the first half are often the best part. With a superbore, you can devote game time to drinking.

 

that's why i think i'll be going for refills during the game, and sitting down and watching for the commercials.

 

When I get a house of my own, I'm going to run beer taps in every room so there will be no need to get up and get refills..

for sunday..i can just sit at a bar... full-service beats self service in this case.. (but just like full service, you pay for it)
