I'm normally one to defend cops... but lately I've just been seeing way too many instances of people doing blatantly illegal and unsafe things in plain view of an on-duty cop, and the officer does nothing. Then 10 minutes later I'll see a cop in a speed trap handing out county fundraiser tickets for going 7 over.

Then last week, I'm driving down a 4 lane street, there was a cop doing 45 (the speed limit) and some jag in the other lane is going like 48, the cop floors it, does a rather unsafe lane change and cuts the guy off, then slams his brakes almost making the guy rear end him... the guy switches lanes, resumes going 48, the cop cuts him off again, again almost causing a wreck. It was funny as fock, but either pull the guy over or let him be?
