I asked my boss what beaches I can go to where there will be no one and he said Long Beach! So we went there and drove to the top of the peninsula where there really wouldn't be anybody (the beach is like 20 miles long 
) and hung out. It was so cool!! You can drive your car ON the beach! I've never been to a beach like that before 
It was so cool and super safe for Mr. Reactive Odin Of course we didn't let him off leash, but he got to run around a lot!! 
Been there before & yeah sounds like it worked great for Odin

Oh, I didn't actually go in (though I may try to next year if I'm still in San Diego).
But I live a block from the convention center - all I have to do is go out, and the crazies are all around me.
