Did you experience this? Had that issue once with some RC toy's the
's had from Target needed to change the frequency on one so exchanged it for the other option

Yup. Imagine the fights that ensue when one girl's BB8 is being moved by her sister's controller.
We couldn't find a switch of any kind, but it's not like I'd be the best person to sort that out.
