I'd consider that...but I lust after a Caterham far more than an S2000. I've wanted one almost as long as I've wanted a Miata and a Jeep and a Porsche.

So far I'm halfway through my list...
Would it be street legal if you brought one over here?

Yep, Caterham imports cars here as "kits" and then you can either build it yourself and source the engine/tranny or you can get a turn-key car from a Caterham distributor of which I think there are a half dozen or so around the country. The motor of choice appears to be a Ford Zetec 4-banger similar to what's used in the Ford Focus.

I drove a Caterham 7 a couple of times in the UK and it was just SOOOO much fun Having said that, I would NOT consider it as a daily driver .... I like my creature comforts far too much to drive one of those in the rain or when it's cold ....

Brant, have you seen the new Caterham RST V8? It comes with a 340hp 2.0-liter V8!

I tried searching for a thread I made in Car Talk, but the search engine must not be working today.

BTW, nice car Trent. I'm just sayin that cuz I have to though. RX8 is too much of a compromise for my taste. :/
