Pics from my latest road trip...
Prior to my jaunt in Vegas, I went to Myrtle Beach, SC... The drive was about 850 miles each way.
Road closed... 20 minute delay

Entering west virginia... where the family tree doesn't branch.

I was forced to check my brakes at this point

On the way home, after forking over $95 to recover my car which was towed overnight :wicky: ...

Almost forgot...
I left last friday... I took my car to work for the first time in probably 8 months (nobody can park for shit...). I'm there maybe an hour and a half, look out the window, and see a major storm... 2" of rain in about 2 hours, 50+ MPH winds, and pea sized hail
. The storm passes, I check out my car and it looks ok. SoI leave work, I'm driving down a road and come to a old railroad crossing, slow down (there's 5" of standing water in it), and happen to look right just as some dumb
in a truck flies by and douses my car with a wall of water... then, as I'm trying to maintain something of a good pace (hard to do in the rain, can't pass easily), I catch back up to the storm... fortunately no hail. Had an interesting encounter while passing a semi, too. Got up to about 85 in 4th (not in VTEC) and all the sudden the back just got sucked under the trailer... I couldn't have been more than 8" from the trailer when I caught it...
definately one of the more interesting drives I've had...
