Trent, I implore you to register. If you get to the last minute and simply can't decide, I can respect that. However, you need to be engaged in the process. We ALL need to be engaged in the process. Think about it...talk about it...vote about it.

Hell, I truly don't care who you vote for...just vote your conscience. If you're undecided...ask questions...read...talk to people...whatever you need to do.

Registering to vote is bad for two reasons. You are put on the jury duty list and it waters down my vote. Just say no to voting.

I've been lucky so far...no calls for jury duty. Granted, now that I've said that I'll get called tomorrow.

I wonder if I can use the "my dad had a stroke and I have to take care of him" card?

I get a summons every 2 years like calendar work. Fortunately I have not actually had to go in. I've got the "cops in the family" card anyway.
