I live in the 'burbs, Beaner, so it's simply a matter of being shuttled around here. I recommend a Bed and Breakfast in my town, but I don't know if it's available. It's called the "Rose Cottage," and it's in West Boylston, about 3 miles from my home.
If you don't like the B&B concept, I recommend normal hotels in either Worcester itself or in Marlboro. I believe there's some form of Marriott in Worcester (Residence or just a hotel). And, there are several hotels in Marlboro. All are within 20 minutes of my house.

they also added a ticketing policies link, so maybe you may be able to call in and order tickets?
