Josh,
My wife and I are coming down the day of the concert (Thurs., 30-Jun). We're staying overnight in Manhattan, and then heading back to Massachusetts. Folks are invited come up for the party at my house on Sat., 2-Jul.
Hope to see/meet you there!

you guys really should come without expectations because any type of expectation will cause you to be disappointed.

Jack, if folks show, it's gonna be a great day up here for Chazmageddon!

What if we expect to be disappointed?

ok so id say about 3/4s of the group did not show up to practice today, so we had played for about 5 minutes total. then he thanked us for coming but he was not going to run a practice with this little people. so he cancelled it and just walked out.
i'd say any practice is better than no practice, especially at our stage (sucky). but if he does this again i'm afraid that i will have to pull out of this trip. it's not worth it if he keeps cancelling practices and if the entire group doesn't come. we don't sound good at all and the trip is in what, 7 weeks? that means 7 more practices total (if he doesn't cancel), and we just can't play.

then you will be even more disappointed.

If we expect to be disappointed, then the only way we will actually be disappointed is if you guys are great.

I'm just kidding with you, of course.
