i'm playing with my orchestra which was selected to play in the new york orchestra festival. don't know why we were selected, we aren't THAT good.
i'm so not a prodigy. i sit way in the back of the section. although the seating is questionable, my skills have sadly been going down hill. i haven't been practicing as much as I used to with my water polo/swim schedule so as of these next couple of years of high school, I'm going to have to prioritize my schedule to make cello after both school and swim, since I figure I have these next 2 years to get as fast as I can. I have a lot more life to go and I'm not going to kill myself trying to get into Yale even though if I had a choice, I'd get pretty close to killing myself
