You know, we're lucky we have a place to vent here. Actually, having now paid for it, I feel less guilty about it (I think that's a good thing, don't you)?
To keep it in perspective, the guys in the other fora (plural, forum??) need to chill, big time. They can be fountains of information, but the egos... my God. I think my brain is wired best to stay off topic!
Amazing, one guy is telling me that I'm a weenie for not wanting to beat the crap out of my new car in winter. Another guy is accusing me of being gay for playing Sheryl Crow (loud) in my car.
You know what the best word in the English language is? "Whatever." I say it ALL the time. It's wonderfully dismissive. And the dismissee doesn't even realize he's been told to shut up.
You know what the weakest word in the English language is? "Interesting." I really, really, really hate when someone says that about something I have some (positive) feelings about. It shows that the person saying it cares absolutely NOTHING about what your saying.
I know what you're thinking, guys... "Chazmo, what you're saying is really interesting. Whatever."

I like to take trips "out there" every now and again just to wind some of them up, it is SO easy with some of them

Glad I'm not alone in thinking these things, guys. Maybe it is an age thing, John/Andy. I don't know. Should kids wound so tight and raging with hormones be allowed to own S2000s? Well, I suppose that's beyond our purview here in the Corner.
Sooooooo, we have John and James' s2ki birthdays coming up this week. Cool. Obviously a virtual Newky to both of ya - - but maybe we should do something more significant. I'd suggest a road rally, but clearly that's not gonna' be too practical, what with a couple of continents and two rather large bodies of water separating all of us. Jeez, let's not forget Peter either, way down under! Sigh.
I think we need a new smiley for dumping gatorade on someone's head. That could be an award for "extreme whoring." Doesn't seem like enough to celebrate the occasions though, does it?
