Posting from Work!
Hey man... oh don't mind me... It'll iron itself out eventually... it just sucks... this is how my luck works.... Everything always pans out... but instead of a song and dance...I get more of a slam dance competition....

I have considered that as well, but this still leaves me with the issue of having to have service people from around here which is almost as bad as buying from them.

1) I had a Honda dealer attempt to charge me and additional $800 for cam seals they were supposed to have replaced just the year before when I spent $1200 on new belts, gaskets, seals, and water pump
----just a few days later the car overheated for the first time in it's life... The fact that this took place directly after the ONLY time I've had a major coolant system service by a dealer was deemed a miraculous coincidence tat cost me another 500 bucks
2) I've had Honda take my car in... lose my car alarm clicker... insist that they NEVER received it and that I was lying.... only to find it in pieces on the floor in the shop... They never replaced it...
3) Honda LOST my 5th Gen Prelude. When I went to pick up my car the valet tried to give me a black Acura Integra with MD license plates (I live in VIRGINIA) I spent half an hour waiting for them to find it.... gave up...and eventually found it 45 minutes later parked illegally in a parking garage.
4) Had a dealer joy ride my car by about 30 miles.... that's longer than my commute to work in MD from VA....BOTH WAYS!
5) Had a dealer quote me $4000 for a new transmission, on top of the $100 they wanted for their diagnostic/inspection. This detective work...out of the service rep's mouth...consisted of putting the car on a lift and starting it...they didn't even check the fluid for metal.
----when I came to have my poor car towed out of the hands of these no-talent assclowns, The rep tried to tell me that a torque converter costs $2000. You'd think I was rebuilding a Titan rocket for the focking space program. I tore the guy a new one so badly he actually ran away. Closing my eyes and remembering him scurrying away in fear still brings a smile to my face.
*******
Are all dealers, of all makes below the level of Benz or Bimmer...REALLY this prickish? I am so flustered by the entire fiasco I have no idea what I should get, where, and why. All I know is if buying an S from Utah and driving it back still requires me to deal with these skidmarks...I might as well save my money and punch myself in the nads.... It's just as pleasant....
......... Next time I'll tell you how I really feel
