Default Procedure on my back today

I'm having a major procedure on my back this morning. A Rhizotomy Bilateral L2-L4 Medial Branches, L5 Dorsal Rami. It's a nerve block in my lower and middle back. They put me under with Propofol and my right leg will be totally numb and useless for 24 hours. I'll need crutches to get around afterward. I've had it before. It really helps with lower back pain for some months. Wish me luck.

That sounds terrible but I'm sure it helps and is worth it for you, as you seem used to it. Best of luck in the recovery and hope to hear you being pain free soon.

Thanks, all, for your concern. The procedure went fine and I seem to be OK. No leg numbness this time. It'll take a couple of days before I can know what pain reduction will be. I'll keep you posted.
