Mrs. Raptor took Molly and Flo to the vet yesterday for their rabies shots. They've doubled in weight in the six weeks we've had them. They eat like little pigs.

Coming, Christina. It's hard because it's impossible to keep them still.

I think the breeder wasn't feeding them enough. They were eating dry food which they don't particularly like. We switched to wet food on the advice of the vet.

oooh interesting!

my pet's vets have never recommended wet food... they always tell me it is bad for their teeth and gums

a mixture of wet and dry food, however, is ok...

But eating isn't a problem with Toby. He'll eat anything and everything he can get his little doggie snout on.

Our vet was quite insistent that they switch to wet food. He saod puppies need a lot of protein and that's the best way to get it. They still eat a little dry food, particularly FloJo. Aren't dogs great? Can you imagine a world without dogs? That was our world for a month and a half.

that break between losing one (in your case 2) sucks, but it really puts it into perspective as to how much they mean to you (us)

my roomate just got a dog so it's nice having one around since I don't see my dog all the time since i dont go to my parents house much

yes... having dogs is wonderful

even though my dog does a lot of frustrating "bad" things, I still love him so very very much.
