yeah, every last one of 'em !!!

you know.... the s62 motor from the m5 would surely fit into a e36.... just food for thought....
I can think of 1 or 2 exceptions...

If you wanted the 400 HP, it'd be easier to supercharge the 3.2 I6... can't see why you wouldn't be able to extract 450 HP.

fair enough, but that doesn't fit with the current hysteria going on in this thread

true, but that isn't nearly as ridiculous as shoving an overpriced sexy motor into a smaller car than it was built for.... and not nearly as cost-ineffective...

Duly noted. F'em all!

Good point. I wonder what the relative weight is between a supercharged 3.2 I6 and the 5.0L V8... and is there room for a twin turbo setup on the 5.0?

indeed !!! those illegitimate children owning german cars !!!

I know the s52 is an iron block, not sure about the s50 in the e36 m3, the s54 in the e46 is aluminum, and the s62 is aluminum.... if its iron, you may lose a couple pounds..... I think the s52 was like 500 lbs for a I6 !!! it was pretty heavy... I used to know more about them when I owned one... I seem to forget...... of course I imagine the new v10 may be made to fit as well...... it should still be shorter than the 6 ..... hehe..... now that's impractical!

bmw drivers can seriously kiss my ass.

CSL is pretty rare eh? I loooved the e36 m to death before they came out with the e46 m.. then it jus made the e36 age like 10 years due to body styling...
with great pleasure beanman. i'll be by the club tomorrow around 1:30 to do some ass kissing.

j/k

sorry about the low ppd lately.. just been way too busy working and stuff
and no, i don't frequent the BMW boards, them and Porsche are just stuck up ass jerks

my bmw is a honda in disguise shoot, might as well be, i still drive it like my S2000.. nearly cracked the damn rear right shock the other day

all i could think was.. sheit... this thing is so fragile, 3 years of absolute crazy ass driving, and my honda still ran like a beauty

oh how i miss it
but in all honesty with all the driving i do, this car is way more comfortable, and plus i totally enjoy all the little trinkets and luxuries of driving a German car. definitely saving up for an NSX though... should have it in a couple years.

oh yeah, and did i tell you guys i just bought a townhouse?

you can't beat the e46 body style.. it just gives an entirely different meaning to what a sexy car looks like, every time i see an e46M3, sheit, just does it for me....
