Very cool.

Yeah, please post (or PM me) one of these days with a pic of how the nav computer fits in. I'm curious.

You ever use the thing, James?

I must say that I didn't really think I would.

Given my very poor level of understanding of spoken Japanese and my even poorer (nonexistent) level of understanding of written Japanese, I didn't think I would be able to use it.

However, I have worked out how to put a phone number into the sat/nav now, with its huge database of information, if that number is for a hotel, golf course or something like that, it will give you the quickest route there. If it is a house or something, it can guide you to within something like 500m from the house.

So yes I do use it quite often now......

Cool!!! Sounds great. I'll have to keep it in mind for our next car.

I rode with a Japanese friend in Matsuyama City (Shikoku) who had an accord with sat/nav. It was really cool, but my impression was same as your initial thought (I wouldn't use it). I see it grows on you.

Very cool, indeed!

PeaceLove,

Well, I wish ya' the best! Even if, heaven forfend, you choose not to buy an S2000, we'll still let ya' whore with us if you like

Oh, by the way PL, the S2000 really isn't the greatest car off the line. There's a jillion posts on the board about the perils of slipping the clutch and trying to get a good launch. The alternative (dumping the clutch) is recommended by some, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I try that. In any case, no stock Miata can touch a stock S2000

Guys,

Guess like Sat/Nav will be on the agenda for next vehicle. James, I'd still like to see how it fits in an S2000 if you ever get a chance to post a pic.
