So my work email account got 
ed/harvested big-time....And it sucks 
Anyway the rate of which I will try to update you on is:
100KB per second 6k per minute...4MB per day...over 4000 emails in a day!!!!
mostly about Viagra and larger breasts
the worst part is that it is our customer email address so I have to weed through them all

i have similar problem with our troubleshooting@ email acct at work. I use spamSieve and it works very well at picking out emails from clients/visitors after a very short training period. throws whatever it catches in a separate folder, and i use mail.app rules to put colors on them so it's easier to scan through.
as opposed to 40000
