Ratgirl Goes To Washington DC
So we went to DC to attend the opening celebration for the new National Museum of the American Indian and lotsa other related fun stuff.
the parade to the museum - about 20,000 in all

Eskimo art looks like Karaoke Man

These kids are our Alutiiq Dancers from Old Harbor, they were on CBS news that night!
The director of the Library of Congress was so impressed with them that he invited us all to lunch and had them perform at the Library of Congress Hall
here they are outside the bldg dancing
now for some food!

Oceanaire - Tragicly I was feeling sick this day and didn't get to eat
it's truly tragic to miss out on fancy expense account food.

so Chris went to a Whitehouse Breakfast on Thursday morning
he sent the camera in the ladies room ....

and here are some shoes for vmom

mary janes are always great Chris was really thrilled - it woulda been so much cooler if it wasn't GWB as Prez.
Still quite an experience to be there.
Fun trip but I need to catch up on some sleep. Chris had to leave for Cali this afternoon and I'm enjoying being home alone
