Default Remember when... (cue the lame, nostalgic music please...)

I heard on the radio this morning that a certain state on the west coast ,who shall remain anonymous, (who am I kidding, it's California) is passing a law limiting the weight of any given school book because some folks think that they are "too heavy". I'm no senior citizen, nor am I a spring chicken, but I've definitely noticed some changes since I was a whipper-snapper.

Please join me in tossing in some examples...

I remember when spanking your children was considered "discipline", now it is a "jailable offense".

You're right, Peter. It's always their fault! I guess that's what happens when you let ruling the known universe for half a millenium get to your head.

Let's not forget the French, Peter!

Being under the Monarchy we have the right to blame the British for many things.

And if we can't blame them then we do as the rest of the world does and blame the french.

Hell, we escaped the Monarchy over 200 years ago and we still blame the British for a right many things!

(Think James'll ever find us in here?)

I'm sure that because he lives in Japan he blames the British too.

But then again he only has himself to blame being a Brit.
