For what it's worth, I think we were following you... I don't know WHY, but we went along with it. I'm pretty sure I knew we were going to the Chrysler Building and I thought it was funny.

NO I remember him saying he knew where it was ( but it doesn't mater ). just a great memory for us
I remember we waited in that lonnnnnnnnnng line and then going up that elevator and finally get up there walk around then go back down reminded me of going up in the Needle
Seeing where lil Jonah from Sleepless in Seattle was was special for me & Dave bought me that stuffed in the gift shop

Glad we have many great stories / memories with him as hard as it is to imagine him gone

I first met Dave in person at my first Dragon event in 2004 (?). Hadn’t seen him in years given we live at opposite ends of the continent but around Halloween we had quite a lengthy phone call. The day he passed I took Taylor Drift for a rip in the mountains in his honour.

 

I heard Eagles Fly by Sammy a few mornings ago and all I could think of was Dave.
