Right now Brant went out on a limb and did a good guy thing as a friend of Trents and it is silly that Brant is being vilified for what he did! Brant was the only one that tried to help the situation and everyone shat on him for it

 

Right now I'll stay out of the drama and simply tell WSB that I'm a social worker.

Right now I'm in child protection and am wishing I was pretty much anywhere else....well except working with the elderly

Right now I'm not all that fond of the medical perspective but wonder if the money's any better and what type if setting you're working in?
...What I would truly prefer to do is policy work.

Right now I've still got 6mo before i get my md... and 4 more years before i could actually hire anyone ... as far as salaries go.. i wouldn't really know... just curious... what's wrong with the med. perspective?

 

Right now I'm sayin' good for you - that's dedication! I don't think there's anything "wrong" with the medical perspective. In my field, some think it pathologizes people, puts emphasis on the things that are "wrong" instead of building on strengths, and/or it labels people (ex. 'the schizophrenic' vs. 'the woman with schizoprenia') without taking into account the person's own perspective of the situation.
