right now, I agree 100% that putting not one, but 3 24 hour races in the game was retarded on polyphony/sonys part, and that races over 4 hours only appeal to the *maybe* top 4% of people playing the game

Right now, I'm thinking it wouldn't be so bad if there was a "save progress" feature... also, why bother with an endurance race if nothing breaks?
I remember playing an old Papyrus NASCAR game on 100% length... and getting to mile 495 or so of the first race (wasn't Daytona
) and getting punted by a lapped car (probably Robbie Gordon)... I was so pissed. It was a complete waste of 4 hours.
