Right now I suggest your parents speak to a lawyer since I'm not qualified to help you.

right now, if your parents signed off on the inspection and no note was made of the leak or other problems, they're kind of SOL. They may want to look into a 3rd party inspector to look and see if the leak is large enough to be dangerous. If it is and the builder didn't clearly tell your parents, there may be ground for some action or a letter from a lawyer.
Well the guy who was conducting the walk through told us with out a doubt that it would go away after a few times of use. and when we moved in we couldnt find any papers containing information on the inspections of gas lines.. insalations etc. the builder "Oakwood" never left them behind, but our neighbors have theirs.

I can find out if my parents had signed off on all of this.

I was under the impression that as they noticed things, they had the builder fix them.

Yea the builder will fix it, was just wondering if there could be legal action taken on this issue.

Only legal action might be against the home inspector. If he/she "signed" off on the gas lines saying that there was no leaks, you might have recourse.

Right now I'm reminding the previous posters that we're in the "right now" thread.
