Right now, if you bump the gas hard on an AP2 if it's too cold, the limiter peaks at ~6500 until it's warmed up.

right now i forgot where the limiter kicks in.. but you should wait till the car warms up before you gun it anyway... a guy last sat. took off in his ap1 cold.... ..
