right now, just got back from looking at the fit and the "new" lexus IS- I like the new IS quite a bit.

right now I think the IS would be a daily driver backed up with something with more spirit/rawness, and if I was looking for an only car, I'd look for something with more spirit (used M5's are in a similar price range these days)...and the point of that rambling is that I think the auto is fine for what the car is.
