Right now, I'm being called a "dork" for not helping my hot female friend score.

Right now I should clarify and say it is the only American car I can afford that I would buy since a CTS-V, Corvette and Viper are a little out of my price range.

Right now when I visited Australia in 2001 and saw the Holden Monaros and Commodores in person, I thought to myself "GM should really bring these to the states." I'm glad they did. With the 400HP/400ft lbs 6.0 liter V-8 the thing pulls like a mad man and it pulls pretty good in any gear at pretty much any speed. Much more flexible than the S2000. And I love the sound of that V8. Unfortunately the clutch pedal travel in this thing is long as is the throws for the six speed gear box so it really puts a damper on the experience. It shifts like a UPS truck compared to the S. I guess you could put a short throw kit in it, but I don't know what you can do about the clutch. When I left the Pontiac dealer, I damn near pushed the clutch pedal through the floor board of the S2000 because I had become used to the GTOs. I didn't get a chance to take it on the twisties but my impression of the brakes, steering and suspension indicate it does well for a large car. The interior is well appointed (much better than the Solstice which I had a chance to sit in. What a POS) the seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room up front. As for the styling, I personally like it. It's understated, not too much bling or body cladding. It's too bad they won't make them anymore. If the Evo and STi didn't exsist, I would buy one if I wanted a fast car under $35k that could seat 4.

Right now this is so funny in an ironic way!
