right now, saying "no 'normal' human being would want to kill someone..." seems contradictory to "if I have to protect my family or myself with deadly force...(I will without second thought)," essentially saying that given the opportunity, they're a-ok with taking another human life.
I suppose it's a matter of perspective, but it seems contradictory

THEN someone tried robbing my parent's home last year. They tried breaking the door off the frame and the cops took 45 minutes to show up.
I bought a 9mm I keep next to my bed, and also made my father buy one for their place. After seeing the fact some people WILL disregard the lives of your loved ones, I would have NO problem popping off two to the chest and one to the head if someone tried again. If someone is putting people you love in a life or death situation, I think people who claim they wouldn't shoot to kill aren't being realistic.
