Right now insurance for an 06' STi is almost $900 more a year vs. an 06' TL.

Right now I think that will tip the scales in favor of the Acura. I'll always have my diecast STi's

Right now I want to spend no more than $25k before tax and licensing. Right now there are 05' TL's out there for that price and I don't plan on buying for another year which theoretically would make 06' TL's available for 25k in 09'. I've never been a huge fan of the GS and the IS300 is too small. The IS250 is awesome, but I haven't seen any for around $25,000. Of course, it is a new model so there may be some next year at my price point.

Right now I have the G35 as an alternative but I'm not 100% sold on Nissan reliability. Reliablity for me is a huge factor. I hate paying money, wasting time and going through the hassle of having cars fixed.

Right now the TL is reliable, safe, comfortable and easily found with a manual tranny. It may not be as fun to drive as an IS, G or 3 series, but it's no slouch either... especially compared to the Corsica. The TL has done well in tests too...
