Right now... Peeved... Splint for my jaw is not covered by insurance unless it's paid for as part of the surgery, which isn't for 6-8 weeks... and doc won't call in my script for muscle relaxers until tomorrow since he is in surgery due to an emergency.

Right now, if your GP says you need it, and it's related to an upcoming surgery, what's to keep them from releasing payment to get said item?

I dunno... some sh!t about it's a post-op appliance... and it's only covered as part of a surgery... it's not covered pre-op or some crap. I have an appointment with the maxillofacial surgeon tomorrow. What I wonder is why is he prescribing a post-op appliance before surgery???
