Right Now XXV
Right now one of the FM radio stations in New York changed from a rock format to a Top 40 format. Last song the played, "Right Now" by Van Hallen. Sucks. I will only be listening to radio online or look into satellite radio.
At 5PM, New York Time (10pm UTC) on March 11, 2009, WXRK changed to a Top-40 format known as 92.3 Now FM. [6] The last song played on "K-Rock 92.3" was Van Halen's "Right Now". It was followed with the sound of a clock ticking and a promo mentioning 92.3 Now FM's direct competition with Z-100. Then the sound of an ECG flatlining was heard and 92.3 Now FM ID'ed with "10,000 songs in a row". The first song played on "92.3 Now FM" was Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow".
