right now i'm in the same boat as you and Monica...

thinking about a macbook pro 13 or 15" and using my existing 22" samsung monitor for when the laptop is on at home... portability is really something i miss. i don't have a laptop anymore so i'd like to either build a pc and leave it in my office, and have another laptop, or get a macbook pro and call it a day...

not sure why, but i've had such bad luck with pc-based laptops, i won't buy another one (netbook being an exception).

i'm going on vacation for 2 weeks in february and trying to squeeze a trip to the middle east later on next year.. a laptop would be really benefcial, just the $$$
