no idea what it's connecting too.... but it always has to connect to something... but i'm not sure why it's taking so long now......

i haven't let it sit for 30-60 minutes.... it seriously freezes up my comp and i can't even do a ctrl+alt+delet on it... hense the reason i have to manually shut the computer down...

1) have you downloaded all of the windows update things? one thing you shouldn't install is the "genuine advantage" or something like that. that checks your windows CD key and reports it to microsoft. just uncheck the box when you install, and you have the option to never be asked to install it again

2) let it sit for 30-60 minutes, see if it finishes trying to connect.
