Thought you'd agree, robb.

I'll probably go with the 4 cylinder since I don't plan on doing any major towing and it'll keep costs down significantly.

Good move. I know some of the v6's had issues either bad heads or head gaskets I don't remember which. 22re is the way to go. I have the 4cyl and tow my sled on a trailer and she does it a bit slow when climbing but she dosen't overheat and I have had no tranny problems. I have never replaced the clutch either. Just gotta watch out for rust.

22re is an old and bulletproof design. I've got a good friend that's a mechanic and an expert on all the variations of the 22r and will do any work for the cost of parts and if I need anything. He currently works for Randy's Ring & Pinion, too, so I can get deals on parts, too...
