It's HOT, HOT HOT here at the moment.
I've spent the day in the garden chilling out reading Lord Of The Rings.
Just pigged out on barbecue food and am resting from the sun a bit. This is just about the first decent bit of weather this summer. Very nice indeed.

 

That's great, AnDy. Did you see the "Fellowship" movie yet? (have they even aired it in England) I enjoyed it a lot, but it was verrrrrry long. They've got the sequel coming up soon -- apparently they filmed it at the same time as Fellowship.

DVD is pretty cool. No question that tape is a dying breed, but the DVD advantage on small screen is minimal (in my opinion). The audio is definitely better (if you have surround sound), but much of the video is letterboxed. I find that quite annoying on small screen.

Some DVDs are formatted with old TVs like mine in mind, but many aren't.

I usually don't check the S2K boards over the weekend, but it was down on Fri. for most of the day!!! That was tough.

 

I wasn't on the board from Wednesday to Monday so I missed all the action (or inaction should I day)
