I'd think.... Not knowing the guy.....that he'd rather be let go than survive like that. That's why I say its not really good news. He just might hang on for years with his money as a shell.

Seems like this could be more of an emotional reaction - his son is likely still pretty angry and wants to blame someone, something for what happened. I get it, but it still won't bring his dad back in the way he wants. Sad.
