In 1927, Charles Augustus Lindbergh made the first non-stop transatlantic flight using a portable chemical toilet, one of the first of its kind.

Crap
Lindbergh’s inflight toilet was a wicker pilot seat with a hole in it attached to a funnel that emptied into a metal container, which he would pour overboard when it got too full. An inflight can!
