Do you have any favorite Christmas traditions?

 

Probably spending time with family (Mom &
Dad, sister, her family etc) but since
this is the first Christmas without Mom & Dad, I’m on the fence about starting my own traditions. No clue as to what that will be yet. The plus 1 is flying out to AZ to be with her son - which I’m fine with. I have to work at 5am on the 24th and 5am on the 26th.
I’m kinda thinking about just getting a really
nice hotel on the 24th and spending it there.

Sounds like a good idea Dave your having to work both 25th & 26th you could use a nice treat!

I / we have several, one started years ago as we would celebrate & open gifts with my fam on the 25th but C-6's did that on the night of the 24th & slowly we just kept it on the night of the 24th also all parents are gone RIP but my 's & wives like our usual fun dinner of Swedish Meatballs and mostly fun foods while opening gifts.
I usually make 3 cookies Spritz, Peanut Butter Balls ( dipped in chocolate ) & a cluster of crunchy & peanuts also in melted chocolate, sadly this year I don't think I will be able too luckily ALL my guys cook and the 2 wives are very helpful so we should be fine.


What if anything will you do for New Years?

 

We have a bunch of social events leading up to New Years and so will likely sit at home and just try to stay awake until midnight.
