I haven't bought any new clubs etc for over 7 years. I bought new shoes last Nov ($75) and once every in awhile, I'll buy a dozen/fifteen golfballs ($35ish or so)
Greens fees are usually $35-50.
Cheaper than buying bait, buying gas for the boat, then cleaning the boat, etc etc.
Now, if they had a *caddy* service when a struggling single mother can pilot a boat selling
(like a golfcart girl), then maybe I might start fishing more.
