I'm trying to reschedule (or resched as the Navy calls it
) this weekend's drill becuase I have to work. I sent an email to my executive officer and this is what he sent back.
"There really doesn't exist a mechanism to perform a drill other than on a drill weekend because of personal / work conflicts - approved absences for work/personal reasons are lost drills and can't be made up.
Having said that, we can be fairly flexible about the rationale behind granting a resched, but it has to be done in a proper manner. "
