I need something decent for lunch .... missed dinner last night because I was in the pub !!!

 

Friday's Chevys drink tasting:

Sour Apple margarita
Cosmotequini
Prickly Pear margarita

 

Prickly Pear Rita???

Hmmmm I used to like Prickly Pears! Have your ever been down near Watsonville where they grow um Tennessee? My Uncle has some in his back yard in SJ they are an INTERESTING plant! the fruit is good though!

Im wonderin bout that Rita I may have to hit Chevy's and try one some time when Im down there!

 

I don't think there is an actual prickly pear in it. lol I'll write down the ingredients next time for you.

 

Well I didnt think they actually PUT the pear in it but maybe the juice or sumthin was it RED ?


So have you seen the place Im talkin bout its like the back way to Monterey?

 

I think they use cranberry juice so it was red.

I don't think I have seen where they are grwon in Monterrey. Next time I play golf in Monterrey, I will look a little closer.

 

Its actually on the way there but I forget the road it was the back way if you went from like where you live via Morgan Hill/Gilroy thru Watsonville I tink! Not goin 17. You know like if your goin to Mt Madonna! Wow I havent been there in SO long I that place! Used to to see all the white deer and look for old rattlesnake skins
