Semi-Official Freakin' Pissed Thread
As some of you know, we get screwed for cell phone service in Canuckistan. After spending nearly an hour on the phone with no resolution I started to get crusty. I told the rep that when he spoke over me (which he'd done repeatedly) it felt as though he couldn't really be listening to my concerns. He proceeded to tell me that he IS listening.
I asked him how he could help me if he doesn't know what is upsetting me. His reply? "Duly noted Cheryl." I told him that seemed a little patronizing and he did not reply. My concerns about the customer service I was receiving were repeatedly met with silence. He obviously didn't know what to say. Eventually he told me he'd given me a number of choices and that when I made my decision I could call back. He asked if there was anything else he could do. I asked for an apology. More silence.
I then asked to speak with his supervisor about the poor service I received. He told me he'd need to transfer me to a different department and they would tell his supervisor (who would tell him) about anything that needed to be addressed. Fine. What does he do? Transfers me to the French-speaking department that deals with pre-paid plans.
You KNOW he did that on purpose. In the end I spoke with four different people, 3 of which need some serious training on how to explain things to people and basic customer service. My guess is that's hard to do when Virgin keeps changing their plans and policies. Sadly there's more too it, but I just needed a little vent.
Let the TL;DR comments begin.

So I call Virgin and the woman I spoke with said, "Oh yeah, we can do that. I just have to transfer you to Solutions." Once I speak to a woman in "Solutions," she proceeds to tell me it's not possible.
