In a way. Not that we disagreed but the consensus was these changes are only as good as the enforcement. We also decided the biggest improvement was the zero tolerance on rules already in place... again only as good as enforcement.

Dad reminded me that several years back they made a similar announcement (zeor tolerance) but after about a month of play they went back to the old way.

That has been a routine occurence since I started following hockey. "Zero tolerance on slashing" "Zero tolerance on hooking" "Zero tolerance on diving" - None ever got enforced after December.

There was another consensus between Dadedwards and I... most of the rules in place would speed up the game if only enforced.
