Lots of teams making offers and moves to secure their lineup.

- Boston is being aggressive in trying to keep their core lineup from '04 (Thornton, Gonchar, Samsonov, Lapointe, Axelsson) intact.
- Senators picked up Hasek's option.
- Wings in talks with Yzerman for a 22nd year.

And the big news.... the NHL released the full 82 game scheduel. Great opening night - all 30 teams play opening day.
