Hey Les! I think I would need a couple of hours of seat time on a rev to fully appreciate it or come away with a definate impression of it but these are my impressions from a 10 min. ride. When I first took off on it I literally felt like I was going to fall over the bars! Then I moved around in the seat a bit and it was better. I rode it on very rough trails and I could feel how it dosen't spread the fatigue to your back like most other sleds. I only got it up to about 50 mph going thru the moguls but it didn't bottom at all. It also didn't seem tippy at all like I have found older MXZ's to be. It seems like everyone who has a REV one loves it I see more and more of them. You still riding up there?
Robb - no more riding here, topless weather only and to be perfectly honest, I need it! It was a long winter.
That thing they did to the back end (sorry not so competent here) really makes a difference, very impressive technology. glad you got to take it out though, sounds like it was a "beneficial" experience for ya!
Yeah I guess for 04 all S/D will have the REV platform. We went riding yesterday and today did a bit over 250 miles on rough trails and that is it for me. Little blue (my sled) is parked right outside my shed and I'm gonna prep her for storage Tues and put her away. I got 2900 miles in this season so I would have to say it was a good experience.
