I don't dress up for work. I tend to get dirt, 5th wheel grease, and various other contaminents on my clothes that result in me throwing them away. I do have a couple suits, and a ton of ties from when I had to wear one to work, and I like to dress up now and then... just not at work. Maybe if I had someone to actually impress while I was there, it'd be different

Thanks QT.....It's not hard and if you do it right, its not really any more expensive

I don't mind paying more for some clothes, as the quality is usually so much better ......

I have a pair of Armani chinos that I have had for about 6 years now .... I only wear them for golf these days, since they are pretty faded, but apart from that they in perfect condition

Les, I work at an engineering facilty... 1200 people, fewer than 100 women, most if not all married/taken. It's also union, so my raises/promotions are based on how long I'm here

and how many stupid training courses I take

, and my boss basically has no control over it. Very stupid....
