He and his buddies were in Austin on a golfing excursion. A friend of mine was a waitress at a really cool, trendy place called The Speakeasy. George and his buddies showed up and were in the VIP area. She asked him if it was alright if I said hi and he was cool with it on the condition of no pics. Anyway, I came up we bullsh*ted for a bit and before long I was having shots with him and the boyz. I offered to buy a round and his exact word were.. "I make too much money not to blow it having fun, put your F*cking money away" (laughing) I think he was a little hammered. Overall, a very down to earth, regular guy. He's not the greatest actor, but one helluva person.

i once met the Labonte brothers (though mom probably has no clue who they are 
) - we were at the track and had some fun chasing each other down
terry was by far the better road racer, but bobby made it look good, getting serious steering lock on most of the corners. terry was just straight-on, nailing his apexes and brake/accel points.
anyway, my dad and i had fun at the track - my dad ran circles around them in his 300ZX, and i had a rather difficult time keeping up in my s2000
they had a C5 and a sportsracer, btw.
