I'm thinking blown head gasket it would still run though... and start, just not very well. coolant in oil? Piston ring fried it would still start too...as long as it was compressing in other cylinders decently.

I'm apparently not getting good compression...but without a compression tester I don't know what the numbers are...

I'm probably going to do that this afternoon. Since my second car is a bicycle, I'm just trying to make sure I've got a complete shopping list before I ride over there, though...
